The actuator is on the latch. You have to remove the latch to get it off. There are 3 torx heads around the latch. If I get a chance, I will take some pics.

you sure the battery in the remote/fob doesnt need replacing ?

I didn't get a chance to take any pics. You will need to remove the interior panel (two screws: one under the switch panel and one behind the reflectors) lift up on bottom of panel and remove. Remove the interior and exterior door handles. Remove three torx head screws around door latch. This is all fairly easy to do. Leave the window up.
