Truck: 2004 F440 6.0L 2wd with 0 miles.

Batteries are good, lights, windshield wipers, turnsignals, and key chime work but when i turn they key it doesnt start. No click from the starter and it doesnt even attempt to turn over. No guages work either, they dont even flinch.

Any prelimiary thoughts?

I didnt post this in the 911 forum because it isnt an emergency. Its just a work truck and because i just bought i ford i now have to fix it :)

I didnt see a black wire with a yellow stripe. Is it in a loom? I saw a wiring loom behind the battery but didnt want to tear into it.

I also found that fuse 31 is good and the starter relay IS clicking.

Ohh wait... i found it, it is actually Yellow with a blue-ish green stripe. I just looked at the starter from underneeth to see what color the wire was going to the S terminal. I like how ford put a quick disconnect there, it should really help. Again, thanks for the help, i will let you know what i find.

Well... we figured it out... kind of

The truck is actually a staircase truck:

The company changed some wiring and had the starting circuit go through some of thier own controls. There is a problem so the truck will only run with the park brake on. At least we narrowed it down to the Lift-a-Loft part of the truck and not Ford.

The Dude, thanks for that tid-bit about the starter wire quick dissconnect, i will have to remember that quick disconnect.
