Does anyone have a 6.0 that has a power adder on it for over one year that has not had a engine problem related to the power adder?

Hey Max, i had good success with the 6 gun tuner. I dont think it had anything to do with the EGR problems I had during that time.

After having done head studs, I think everything is good to go now.

I plan on keeping my truck stock, until the warranty runs out, then I will install the most reliable power adder they have at the time. I have always been power hungry, that is why I have a 660 hp Falcon, but I want a reliable truck to take me anywhere I want to go without problems. Stock, the truck pulls our 5th wheel very well, so for now it will remain stock. It would be nice to pull any grade in overdrive (5th gear in the manual) at 60 mph, pulling 11,000 lbs. We have 6/7 and 8 degree grades here on the left coast, and have had to drop down to 3rd gear a time or two, to keep rpms at 2000 while climbing the grade. That is 45 mph. An extra (safe) 75-100 hp should do the trick. So I will keep watching to see what will be the best power adder when our truck is 5 years old. It will be two years old in April 08, and we only have 9k miles on it now. At that rate, we will see the 5 years way before the 100,000 miles, even with taking the 10,000 mile trip next year.

I've been running the six-gun for oaver a year now, the only problems I've had is blowing boost tubes off. However the truck is in the shop as we speak for a new EGR cooler, but those go out frequently on stock trucks, and I don't think it is related to the six-gun.

I know alot of folks don't like Banks products, but I personally feel, that they have the safest products for the 6.0 overall. Albeit they are overpriced.

Max-

I have been running the Edge Juice module with the Attitude monitor for the last 3 years with absolutly no ill effects (knock on wood). Their tech support is very helpful if you need them. Banks makes great parts too.
I chose the Edge because it was the only module, at that time, that allowed the computer to "de-fuel" at the shift point so as not to hammer the trans/converter with your new found power and you can change setting on the fly with the Attitude monitor. Good luck and try to take it easy on those little tires they like to throw off white smoke really easy when you call on the skinny pedal.

Banks 6 gun in mine. Boost tube will blow off now and then if you don't use some high-tack on it. Not trying to tell you your business, but gauges go in before programmers, exhaust, etc.
