Posting of Diesel Prices

Have you all noticed that lots of stations will have a sign stating they sell diesel, but don't post the price? I just sent an e-mail to Murphy Oil asking them to start posting more diesel signs, particularly at the one in Murphy, TX (no "relation" in the name of the town and the name of the company).

I have noticed that it is mostly Shell stations. I think its because they are embarassed to always be higher than everyone else.

Would be nice if they did have a price panel up on the canopy for Diesel but they've only had one up there for Gas,maybe it's due to the Exxon that's within sight of the Murphy is why it's not displayed Only way to know is to do a drive by at the pump

At least the Murphy in Wylie has a sign panel with the price

when i drive to the pump and its higher then the rest, i wait a second till the see that i was going to get fuel then i leave.... the 2 places i usually go have the prices listed.....

I've noticed that in the past when I was running #2 and always wondered why. I never frequented stations that didn't post prices. Being off of the dino oil grid, it no longer matters to me.

I admire you guys that recycle used french fry oil... but I don't have a lot of time, or space, and if I'm gonna home brew anything, it's gonna be beer...

I have a personal rule - you dont tell me your price, I dont buy your fuel. Im sure my personal boycott will make things change someday.

i do just about the same thing, not gonna bother to stop and see what it is either.

i'll drive 10 miles down the road to save 2 cents if i can.
