I had my tech read them to make sure there were no codes. I ran some of Eric's first tunes and wasn't impressed, but as time went along, his tunes have become pretty stellar. This is my 5th 6.0 I've had him tune.

I bought them a month ago and had to dump them.. mine should be the same as yours? but my AE and insight would see codes ,, I was told all ID does is kill the CEL ?
I wouldn't have wasted 130$ and let him fix it ,, but they didn't respond to numerous tech line was busy =forced to voicemail messages and emails

i have had no problems since my egr delete and also removed the scoop on the pipe on my 05 and runs like a champ

any tips on removing the scoop?
You can use a sawsall with a long blade to cut out the scoop. The scoop is huge and really obstructs exhaust flow!!!
I am going to try using a torch to heat up the scoop and bend it over so that it blocks most of the flow going into the egr cooler, I am in California so I can't just delete the egr cooler because it needs to pass the smog test

I haven't cut mine yet (pics are from another site) but I think you will only get the CEL (code light) coming on if you totally block it off.

that's what i did. and its the best thing, of all the mods, that i did. My truck is now very reliable, as my dd and when i tow my 5th wheel. And no smoke!!! I run pretty clean. except for the up coming smog check in california, its a must for anyone having EGR valve or cooler problems.

I used the MKM customs kit. No problems what so ever. Had it on for about 3 months now. I recommend this kit. No check engine lights, '04.
