Anyone have a thought on using CPVC piping for both hot and cold water in my fishing shack(rv port)
it sure wil make my fianl plumbing alot easier than soldering copper

thanks

Give a look at pex plumbing stuff. It's the stuff used by a lot of RV companies.
The stuff supposedly don't sweat, is good for hot or cold. The plumbing is quickly done, pretty much cut it, fit it and crimp it. It's widely available at most places like Home Depot, Menards, etc.

Pretty sure the people that had my house plumbed before we got it used CPVC for both hot and cold, as a matter of fact I am almost positive. Have not been under the house for a while but both pipes are plastic. They used 1/4 in pipe on mine and water preasure sucks.

Yep--as long as you've got the correct flare tool (looks like a pop rivet gun but stretches the end of the tube out ever so slightly so you can install a fitting), PEX goes in waaaaaaaaaaay faster than copper ever will and the stuff lasts pretty much forever.

The last two houses Ive owned Ive had no issues with the PVC piping. It was every where exept main. Ive been asked to use in residential usually in commercial and industrial they want copper. There has been more times then I can count that I was glad it exsisted in my houses sure did trim some time off little add-ons like deep sinks and adding another spicket for out side. If putting it in the walls you will increase the possibility with suffering a puncture when hanngging cabinets, shelves etc...

that exactly why i want to use it.... easy plumbing for dummies and upgrades. I hate sweating pipes together.

Really on the feed to the water heater just sweat about a foot on to the hot and cold then sweat the copper to PVC fittings and then start your PVC.
