I live in the Baltimore Maryland area and am interested in getting a set of pillar gauges and having them installed in my 2002 F350. Can anyone steer me in the right direstion of a good shop (Not Dealer)? I found a shop but wasn't convinced they knew alot about Power Strokes

Thanks

I ordered mine from one of the dealers online, got auto meter gauges, and installed them myself. It's a 2 banana job if you have the 'know how'. The guages came with good instructions, the hardest part was drilling and taping for the EGT bung. There are good instructions on line if you do a search so you can see what you are getting into B 4 you decide to tackle the job.
Good luck, you'll love having a set of pillar gauges.

most of the sponsors <who sell gauges> also provide
instructions and pre-configured SETS of gauges...already mounted
and wired in a painted to match "pod"...you choose the mounting
pod (a-pillar, over the mirror, under the dash, etc) and WHICH
gauges you want, brand as well as mix.

all you do is follow the specific "super duty" directions for connecting
the gauges.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I do not feel comfortable doing this myself (mainly the drilling/tapping) I will find a good diesel shop one of these days to do the installation after I get the gauges (Boost, Pyro, Volt, Trans Temp)

I also meant to say, although I really like my truck, I was really surprised Ford didn't choose to include a volt/amp gauge as well in 2002. You would think a truck such as a Powerstroke would have it. Makes you wonder what the decision makers were thinking.
