hey guys its been a while, just havent had any problems until now. I have to add about a gallon or two to my truck about once a week. Been looking for leaks every where and have not been able to find one. This has been going one for about two weeks now. Today i noticed that i have oil in the radiator reservoir i know that this is not normal so what do yall think the problem might be. talked to a local shop today also and they told me that it could be a cracked head gasket, oil cooler, or the injector bowls. Anybody have any ideas.

From the description it seems like a headgasket might have gone out on you.

I have had the oil cooler gaskets on an older 7.3 (92) go bad but it also put antifreeze into the oil. If you do the gaskets on the oil cooler it is a good idea to do the big o-rings on the either end of the tube also.

if its not the head gasket what are the chances that the head might be cracked. I know to replace that head gasket is a job i dont want to do, but what about the injector cups, or the oil cooler.

I'm thinking if you had a head gasket or cracked head you would be pressurizing the radiator no?

I'm with 95 stroker usually a head gasket or cracked head will pressurize the cooling system. If not pressurizing the cooling system it should be burning it.

Injector cups would be my guess.
I'll definately third the injector cups. Cr. If the head was cracked, you would be burning the coolant, if the block was cracked, you would be making oil. Just my thoughts....Rick
