I've been keeping an eye on 6.0 filters. I've found 2 versions of purolators on shelves. the old model i'm assuming... 2 piece design; never used it. Then I found their 1 piece models. I went ahead and bought it. Went witht he PureOne version. 1 piece, blue media, and has a metal inner cage. 
And the regular purolator is the EXACT same thing as the motorcraft filter. So for me, it's purolator now (1 piece).
