newbie needs help ASAP in CALI.

I am looking at a truck in huntington beach cali. I put a down payment on it but now am wondering if i did the right thing. I live in lincoln nebraska and started to look more into the dealership and i am finding only bad things about this place. Could someone please if there in the area take a look at the truck for me. Its a 2000 F350 regular cab dually. It is at huntington beach ford. I am just a little worried to fly out there and be screwed.

Please Please Please could someone take a look at this truck before i fly out there this friday.

X2, If in Doubt ? DON'T do the Deal, Cut yer losses'n run, if you don't feel Warm'n Fuzzy about the whole thing.

Even if someone could look it over... it's a 2000 mile drive home.. in a 2K 350 that an LA car dealer has "Refreshed"... that you've heard some Negative information about.

Yeah I here ya. Everything seemed fine till I started looking around. But like i said. Already have the down payment and the flight booked. Just wanted to see if someone could take a look at it before i fly out there. Plus, i guess whats it hurt. I already have this much invested what another couple hundred if i have to fly home.

By the picture.. it has some aftermarket wheels on it.. (Alcoa's, other than the OEM Argent's) Looks like the PO took purdy good care of it, body wise too.

You might be going through the "Jitters" we All get... just before we sign.. The Bottom Line ?..

If you go through with the Deal.. On yer trip home, if you have any issues.. if you have access to the Internet .. Many of us are on the [Diesel 911] section, in the Forums.. give us a call ??

Thanks, Yeah from all the other pics the thing looks perfect. I definately got the jitters. But i have been looking other dealerships that i have worked with before and thought were great and they all had a ton of neg comments to. But neg. comments are easier found than good ones. Well i will either be coming down I-40 or heading back through on I-15

Right On about Dealer reputations

Again yer call, but.. unless you don't mind the most HORRIBLE traffic on the planet (I-10 in Metro LA).. from Huntington Beach, you could take I-405 North to I-5 North to Ca-58 East (Bakersfield), to Barstow Ca.. then I-40 East.

Only 20 miles (might seem like 100) of LA Craziness.. then purdy Clear sail'n. Faster.. in time, not to mention the factors.
