let me add ... my moms 04 6.0 350
has about the least lag i have ever felt
she presses go and it reacts mucho fast

HOWEVER
she also has the latest flash that cycles the injectors after shut down to purge the fuel and oil. which........causes a longer start cycle
but for a truck that isnt babied .....it flat rocks, squats and goes like heck

it put me back in the seat hard in traffic yesterday near the airport, she pressed go and off we went

that pretty much how my truck reacts, even the start up. i noticed longer starts after the flash has been done.........

Squeal could be a boost leak. Have you checked all your hoses and clamps? Are they oily? If that are I bet you have a boost leak.

rooster, the boot that connects from the turbo to the boost tube, does have some cuts on the blue outer part of the boot, but it does not go all the way thru.


if that is enuff to do, where could a get a new one? mine was part of the banks kit.

bama, if there is a hole in it you can feel the air if you let someone bring the boost up a little, not w.o.t. mind you, but enough to build a little boost
