Hello members. I just traded my '07 F-250 6.0L CC LWB for a 2011 F-350 CC DRW. I pull a 5th wheel and hope to find lots of good info from the forum members about my Super Duty. My first dilema is trying to fit the 2 1/2" to 2 " adapter into the 2 1/2" receiver. The adapter came from Ford (gratis) but won't slip into place in the 2 1/2" receiver?? Huh? Other than that, this 6.7L beast is awesome. AZJim

Hi Stroked68,

It's soooo quiet, and has lots of muscle. My '07 6.0L was pretty basic, no frills, but this one is pretty loaded and amazingly quiet: and with 400 HP /800FPT wow! It pulls my 35 ft Cameo very easily. So far pulling I'm getting about 12.5 -13.0 mpg and around town averages almost 15. I've only got 600miles so we'll see how it does when it's broke in a bit.

I would take the 2 1/2" to 2 " adapter back to the dealer and tell them you want the right one or at least one that fits. That's a good looking rig and know you will enjoy lots of fine camping trips.

Welcome to SSD.com and come back often.

Thanks Doug,

That was my first thought, but after reading some threads, it seems like a common problem. The no-fit is more common, it appears, than the fit. So like a couple others I took my handy 4" grinder and peeled off the powder-coating and a few high spots and walla!! It's drying with a light coat of primer as I type this.....so tomorrow I'm gonna test it by towing my fishin' boat to the lake!! Yee-Ha!!

Just be that way, go off and go fishing, I don't care. LOL Have fun fishing, wish I could do some fishing, just to much going on around here for that right now. Good Luck.
