I tried 'em behind some smoked lens' on my moto guzzi...i was NOT
happy w/ the REDUCTION in over all brightness caused by the chrome'ing

Hey Bama, FWIW ? I put 31>77<s in my Tail-lites.. They're Brighter. Also, I've mounted clear lense, oval marker lights (from a 01 Mountaineer*), centered and just under the SD badges, wired into the T-sigs. Sure helps when changing lanes towing.



* just like the DRW fender/Tailgate marker lights but clear

let me add...it DEPENDS...on the LED...and not ALL LED's
are created equally....some are brighter than others and some
give a WIDER (usually a desired function) beam dispersement.

if youre not happy w/ the 1st one or 2 you try, dont give up...
typically the once you see in autozone,pepboys & walmart (etc)
are NOT the best quality products (in terms of brightness or
coverage).

in LED's you typically get what you pay for.

the cab lenses i have are clear, but you can get them in smoke too.

i bought them at reconaccessories.com. i believe discount power parts, who is a vendor here at SDD can hook you up with some too.

and yes they came with amber bulbs.
