GPR and or GP

I agree with Bushpilot.

When you turn on the ignition, does the battery gauge drop, then rise up after it runs a bit?

If not, then it may be the Glow Plug Relay not fireing the Glow Plugs (easier to check and replace). Can also check with a meter across the terminals and have someone turn on the ingition. It should allow current to go through, then shut off.

The glow plugs can be checked through the valve cover harness and a ohm meter. Off the top of my head, I do not remember what the good values are, but it does help troubleshoot which ones are TU.

well now when i turn the key on the battery does like normal. goes up then down a little, then after running a little bit it goes back up. i don't know what the problem is but i will try the gpr or gp. and see if it gets better. i had to plug it in for about 20mins. this morning before it would start.

If you had to plug it in to get it started its prolly a bad or weak GPR.

Glad to hear ya got 'er runnin.

But if that happens again, have someone "jump" the two tall posts on the relay for like 20 sec, then try to start it, if it works, then thats yer problem.

Best of luck,
-Matt
