THE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER IS NOT INCLUDED. IF THE CUSTOMER REQUESTS
A COOLER FOR A TRUCK OR VAN APPLICATION, THEY CAN PURCHASE PART
NUMBER K405-EL COOLER. THIS KIT INCLUDES THE BRAIDED COOLER LINES AND
FITTINGS. MOTOR HOME APPLICATIONS REQUIRE A LARGER COOLER, PART
NUMBER K4739EL. THIS KIT INCLUDES THE STEEL BRAIDED COOLER LINES AND
FITTINGS.
***THE BRAKE ASSEMBLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS UNIT IS APPLICABLE TO
VEHICLES WITH DIFFERENTIAL DRIVEN SPEEDOMETER GEARS ONLY! IF THE
SPEEDOMETER IS NOT DRIVEN BY THE DIFFERENTIAL , THIS BRAKE ASSEMBLY
WILL NOT BE COMPATIBLE.
NOTE: THIS TRANSMISSION ALSO INCLUDES A TRIPLE DISC CONVERTER.
1. THE CONVERTER WILL RECEIVE A NEW LOCK-UP PISTON, AND A CUSTOM
FORGED FRONT COVER THAT IS .235 (235 THOUSANDTHS) THICKER TO PREVENT
CONVERTER FAILURE.
2. A NEW OVERDRIVE SPRAG IS INSTALLED FOR INCREASED DURABILITY.
3. A 2 ROLLER BEARING IS INSTALLED IN THE CENTER SUPPORT FOR
ADDITIONAL SUPPORT OF THE INTERMEDIATE SHAFT AND LONGER LIFE.
4. ONE EXTRA STEEL AND LINED PLATE ARE INSTALLED ON ALL 7.3 AND 7.5
APPLICATIONS FOR INCREASED TORQUE CAPACITY.
5. A NEW MORE DURABLE STYLE REAR SPRAG IS USED FOR LONGER LIFE.
6. AN UPDATED FORWARD CLUTCH FRICTION PLATE WITH HARDENED TEETH IS
USED. THIS 40 ROCKWELL WILL PREVENT WEAR ON THE TEETH.
