does anyone have the compressor set up to air tires or use other air tools for small jobs? i'm wondering if i can get by with a 25-30% cycly duty comp. 100% cycle duty's are expensive. i'd like to install and 5 gallon tank 115-200 psi to run train horns and misc air. dont know if a beefy setup would be worth the use it'll get...
JMHO, but if you're gonna buy an air compressor, go ahead and get the cont. duty, you'll be glad you did.
I plumbed my system so I could stub out 2 outlets. You can barely see them in the pic of the tank & compressor.
I have used mine several times for airing tires and the such like.

arrowstrap BamaSixGun, your horns look scary mean... i love them.. blow me away.
Thanks. I like to think that my train horns can bring people together, or make them get out of the way, however you want to look at it.
Short story:
I pulled into the local Huddle House once, and an older couple and their son were getting out of their car about the same time as me.
I could see their son looking back at my truck and then his parents looked back to see it too. You could tell they were talking about it as if to say, WOW, thats a sharp truck.
So I gave a few short & long blast of the horns, the lady (who seemed to be around her 50's or 60's) said to me, "you gotta be kiddin' me?" I said, nope, those are train horns you hear, she said "that is so cool!"
