There is a Mustang GT 500 in the works. Sticker from $50,000 to $60,000 from what I have been told.

If you are reffering to the Shelby GT500, Cobra GT500 (has ford even picked the official name yet?) then the MSRP is around $40,000. Dealerships might ask for more at first.

And the GT500 isnt all that impressive to me. The 05 Mustng in general had a great concept and ford made it too 'soft'... too girlie if you ask me. And the GT500... yeah it has 475hp (at the flysheel) so a tad over 400 hp at the wheels and 4,800 lbs for the couple? Then add roughly another 300 lbs for the convertable... and another 150-200 for an averagle adult.... that is HEAVY!!!

Have you been to any mustng meets in your area? I know quite a few people in the NJ, PA, MD, DE (where i am from) area.

I hit an occasional Mustang show. I'm more interested in Antiques and Classics. I've got a couple of Harley's, so bike shows are fun for me too.
