Mileage on other 7.3's??

I'm currently getting in the 14's for mileage, not to impressed. I have a bullydog 6 position chip, not matter what mode its in, its still in the 14's?!?!?!
What are the rest of you guys getting????

I've been getting 16.5-17.5 mixed driving. All my interstate driving is above 70mph (2000 rpm). Towing the car hauler I usually see around 12-13.

When I was driving 200 miles round trip before I was getting 24mpg. Now I am driving 30 miles round trip and I am averaging 16.5 right now. And that is driving 70 home and up to 90. Depends on if somebody is on my tailgate and if I want to blow black smoke. Do you have any mods or are you still stock? I picked up 1.5 just switching to Royal Purple Syntheic. Getting ready to run syntheic in the Transmission. See what that does.

I believe it does. And I'm not alone in my thinking.

With a 200K miles average of 15.4 MPG. that is over 6 years that includes towing, idling, 4 wheel all driving conditions.
Most on the time in last two years I stay around 17 MPG +/-

Unloaded I get anywhere from 15-21mpg. That includes driving like an idiot(15mpg) and sensible(21 is my best on the highway.)


Towing heavy(10K+) I get around 13mpg. Towing around 5k on a 3000 mile trip last summer I averaged 15mpg @80mph on 100% biodiesel.

I also agree that ULSD causes a drop in mileage. I've only ran two 125 gallon loads of ULSD since it was introduced. My mileage fuel gauge went down faster. I only figure mileage every 5000 miles or so since I have an auxillary tank.

Running B20 to B99 I haven't noticed the fuel gauge drop as fast.
