I recall there being issues w/ the 7.3's too but since ive never
owned a 7.3 i cant be certain.
It only takes a minute to get under the front of the truck and
give a good <through> inspection...use a flashlight and run your
fingers all over that hose...if you feel an imperfection, trust your
instincts and look it over VERY CLOSELY.
