Whats this follower that people are talking about, is there a trick on it not falling in, Thanks.

Basically it's a shaft that rides against the cam eccentric and actuates the fuel pump. Kind of like a lifter. If you loosen the fuel pump without removing it, then rotate the engine till the follower pushes the fuel pump up to the highest point, that should eliminate the clearance for the follower shaft to fall in....

Well I finally got the pump out and new one in, Turned out to be real easy the following day. That bango bolt wouldnt come out period. Was ready to call a wrecker and take it in. Came out the next morning and it came right out. Fixed the corr on the filter bowl, changed the fuel filter and the oil. Just wanted to say thanks for the help. Jarrod.
