Ok here we go. :D It has been awhile since I have been here to hang out with ya'll but alot has happened in a weeks time. I am no longer driving an 18 wheeler for Conroe Golf Cart.:sweet My Father-in-Law offered me a job at his company being a Poject Supervisor, making 2x the money I was making before plus they will pay for my truck and pay for all my fuel.:thumbs At this point in my life with my wife and the new house and us trying for our first child I desided it was the move in the right direction for all of us.

Now then, the first day on the new job was working late to try and pick up and learn as much as I can because I new I was getting ready to go out of town to straighten out a problem job we have going on it Keller, Tx.

On my way home going down the freeway at about 65-70 mph, I all of a sudden felt the truck start shaking really bad. I new it was a tire getting ready to blow so before I could get to the side of the road and slow down the tire let loose.:watchout

After I felt two big hits I new it was not going to be pretty when I got out of the truck to see the damage. Pics tell the story. Any way got the tire changed and drove home. After getting home the first thing I did after some :rant and  , I went and emailed BFG the problem I had with the tire and the damage it did to my truck.

The tire itself actually split in half (from inside to outside). Half of the tread was on the tire and as you moved the tire the belts started showing and then there was nothing. The following morning, I got a call from BFG. After talking to them I went to Discount Tire and they shipped the tire back to BFG for them to do an investgation on the tire. They told me that if the tire was faulty then they would pay to have my truck fixed and send me 4 new tires for my truck. Hoping for that to happen.:sweet

Well that is the short story of the past week an 1/2. Hope I didn't jump around to much.

Pics of my Baby that is hurt.:( :(

Thanks guys. Was really upset when it happened. Actully the truck stayed really straight. Just felt weird, because you could really feel how far the back end fell with the flat tire.

I dunno if discount tire gets lower quality tires or something bc the same thing happened to me about 2 yrs ago. Driving back from LA in my roadster I had a yokohama tear apart at the sidewall doin 85. Brand new set of tires that cost a grip...not much of a discount. Funny thing is my friend was ridin shotgun and the little trunk was full already so he had to lap the bad tire for 4 hours til we got to tuscon. Had to stay the night til discount opened the next day. The tire was hot when i went to change it too, burned my hand. Seems like the sidewall just melted off. Supposed to be Z rated tires. Wonder whos liable for a bad tire if it comes down to litigation, the manufacturer or the distributor? Glad you're ok! Could've been alot worse..
