basically I was just wondering if theres a web page with basic info on our trucks where you can find out what years had what HP and what all the fx4 package consists of and how to read the door tag to see what gears it has and if they are limited slip or not. Thanks

I'm sure there's a site somewhere in Cyberspace that has what yer look'n for. But if you have, or can get, an Owners Manual for the Year, Make and Model.. it will have a spelled out break down of the Door Codes. Some FORD parts counter guys will give you the specific info too.

Maybe someone will jump in with a Web Site ??

I've always went off the sticker on the valve cover for hp and torque ratings if it's still there.

how about the turbo whine? on my '99 it's deafening under load. did they fix that by '03?
