To be more specific for you youngsters.... A head bolt, or any bolt screwed into the block is a good ground to use on the vehicle that has the dead battery.
Normally you would open the negative cable jaws wide enough to go over the bolt, (making sure the bolt was clean of oil, paint, or rust, then release the jaws so they clamp firmly on the bolt.
This degree of illustration was not for you chp,,, but any chevy drivers out there that might be reading.

Being no one will give a straight up answer :D

Yes Bill, just hook right up to the batteries. There is no remote posts on there.
I guess there is on mine, I have a plug wired and mounted on the front bumper for my jumper cables. :sweet

Stephen, you can do it the opposite way you know, black on the red and red on the black, as long as you do it the same on both ends...
:roflmao :roflmao :roflmao

yep because
red on black could KILL jack
black on red and you could be DEAD :stir

i have mine mounted at the rear (look at picture below).

i jumped a car off at Lowe's one time, and there was this older fella sitting in his car on another row, it bout freaked him out when he saw me plug the cables in at the rear bumper.

Where did you get the connectors from? Welding shop? I've seen them on fork lifts and such, but was/have been too lazy to track them down.

Probably the reason we don't have the jump start blocks is because we don't break down! :thumbs

Okay... somebody had to say it, and I'm surprised it took this long!
