I guess that was the point of the thread I started at that other web site......... why do we or how can we complain about the prices at the pumps when we for the most part have a controlling factor on how much fuel we use. I seriously think if you want to put the hurts on an oil company all you need to do is figure out how to reduce your usage by about 25%............... PERMANENTLY!
Yes, the price per gallon has risen exorbitantly in the last six months, and yes I think it is over priced and yes I do work in the oil and gas industry. I dont however have the inside track on pricing or profits.
Wayne hit the nail on the head with his comment on the commodity markets..... the futures traders are really pushing the price per bbl through the roof right now.
