Welcome to SSD.com, what kind of tie rod issue are you having?
Tell us about your truck, is it a 4X4, 2wd LB or SB?

its a 4x4 the issue is i was backing out of my driveway and the passenger side outer tie rod snapped clean off i have had many trucks and when i was younger drove alot more fierce with 44 monster gumbo mudders tires lifts and all that non sense and nothing like this ev er happened but this truck is stock and had to be going about 2 miles per hour if that and its my work truck and baby it pretty much.

Welcome! Good thing it broke goin slow! Easy fixes atleast! Might as well replace both of them and check all other steering components.

Your truck is almost 10 years old, do you think it may be from rust from living in the north east or did you look to see if it might be a bad cast part.

What Doug said, and Is it relatively new to you or have you had it since New ? front-end Greased regularly ?

Something hasta be real Dry, Seized or Bound up.. in order to Snap off a tie=rod end.
