Ice storm in NE

Woke up this morning to disappointment. Ice all over, switched to rain. The ride home from the pub last night was hairy too.

Well we had snow and sleet on Thanksgiving day but, now it's 75 windy and the sun is shining. Gotta love TX.

I just saw on the local news that the DFW area is off to its warmest December on record. The average temp for the first two days is around 70, the warmest ever. Also, today's low temp was the warmest low temperature ever for a December 2. Supposed to hit 40 tonight and 38 tomorrow night, mid 60's for highs.

I plowed out the shop on sunday, but it basically was slush. There was about 1 inch, then freezing rain following.

We got about a 1/4" to 1/2" of ice last night, which unfortunately canceled my hunting trip. heres a pic of the truck.

That's pretty much how my truck looked on saturday.. and it was almost gone by that night. I could rool my windows down and still not let air in it was about 1/4 inch thick on the side windows
