Ice storm in NE

man i just got done putting up the luminaries and doin' some other
out door lighting....i was workin' in shorts and a t-shirt...and i was
STILL sweating....send some ice & snow...i need it for the beer

we are suppose be getting a storm too, hopefully snow....

All of this talk of cold weather made me go out and get a bunch of R-30 insulation. I added it to my R-13 existing insulation. Now I hope I can warm my home with a candle. Maxtor, how is your hip doing?

It's doing fine. I am walking without a cane or limp. The last hip replacement went much better than the first one. We will be ready to travel to Quartzsite in January. I used to run track in High School and College, and liked to run a mile or two to keep in shape, but the Surgeon said that my running days are over. I am just glad to be walking without pain, and no more pain pills. I'm looking forward to being able to work on the race cars. That is my main enjoyment. I bought a new R200 differential for the road course car, and plan to change the cam on the ZZ3 350 engine, all before the trip next year. It just feels great to be walking again without pain. We seem to take our health for granted until we loose it.

I just got home its gettin a little icy here but not bad enough too have to stay in the dually went just fine in 2wd, its supposed to let up a little later

We got about a 1/4" to 1/2" of ice last night, which unfortunately canceled my hunting trip. heres a pic of the truck.

expecting 4-6 inches here, then may change to ice rain or rain tomorrow...i don`t mind the snow, but the freezing rain sucks.... ....
