Where is the block heater hook up? I am beginning to think my Lariat does not have one. I went out to start my truck this morning and it was 8 degrees F and took me 3 times to get it to crank up....then it sounded like it was going to blow up :dunno

It will help alot on the starting. Even though it doesn't get that cold here if it gets into the 30's I plug the truck in and first crank the truck starts.

OK It looks like the receptacle is missing. I have two wires coming out of some loom at the front with no end on it. I have two wires there that are red with a blue stripe and I think a blue.
Can anyone confirm the wire colors?
If that is the case....Is it cheaper/worth fixing it or get a new one?

That aint it.:D

With no end. It would look like a black flat three wire cord. Center is ground.

Mine was to the left (toward the center of truck) of the driver side tow hook, tie strapped to my fog light harness. Hope this helps.

If it is missing the plug I would suggest getting a new cord. I have seen the front end of a truck that the cord caught fire and it ain't pretty.
