thats a great idea stephen! just gotta figure out some way to scale it down a bit to get it to fit. I gotta do something to mine cause right now its just an ugly unevenly cut hole

I was thinking that maybe a mobile home supply store might have a scaled down register vent.
You can find some specialized items in those stores sometimes.

Worth a try anyways.

Yep, you read right. Here is what's on my list to remove/change.

1. Ditch the stainless steel bed rails (will have to buy new bed caps tho )

2. Remove the tool box. I'm tired of the everyday work truck look.
I would have to get rid of the 15 gal. air tank that I have inside and re-mount the air compressor on the frame.

3. Change over to 2008 tow mirrors and paint to match the top part medium wedgewood blue.

4. go with a 2005 Harley Davidson Edition grill and 2005 chrome bumper.

I don't really know. It doesn't have an appeal to me any more.

I see more and more pick-ups with the Putco chrome handles and chrome vent shades and stainless fender trim, and I just don't want my truck to be like those.

I am by no means knocking those who put those accessories on their rig, its just not me anymore. I guess bushpilot has finally rubbed off on me.

I do plan on keeping a chrome front bumper, but I want to make the change to the 2005 to 2007 look, along with the Harley Davidson painted grill.

It's just time for some change.
