OK, lets say Toyota was to introduce a 3/4 or 1 ton pickup with a Cat motor, how many of you guys would sell your beloved American made Super duties? I for one, would never think of it. Just curious.:dunno

The Tundra has people believing Toyota can build a heavy duty truck. I saw one at a dealer display in Jersey at the State Fair. It was hooked to a skid-steer on a small flat bed. I stood on the pintle where it was hooked, and the truck dropped 3-4 inches. The sales kids hair stood up and he asked me to get off the thing. I'm about 285, and the trucks bed was unloaded, so who knows what it can hold. The trailer and the skid-steer was probably 5500 lbs. Throw in my fat ass and maybe we got 5800. I do 12-13,000 lb. all the time and I can't imagine this truck holding up, diesel or gas. A small cat would probably shake the thing to pieces in short order.
