OK, lets say Toyota was to introduce a 3/4 or 1 ton pickup with a Cat motor, how many of you guys would sell your beloved American made Super duties? I for one, would never think of it. Just curious.:dunno

I would not sell my truck just because a new one came out but if I needed a new truck it would be in the running. I would rather it had a Cummins though.

You could not give me a Cat or a Japanese built truck. I would take the truck before the Cat. Cat has some serious issues with there engines that they are not currently willing to address.

Cat also has publically stated that they DO NOT want to get into pick-up trucks. They will not be supplying anyone with pick-up motors.

Toyota so called full size trucks are no longer "japanese built"
They are now biult in San Antonio TX, as would be the one with a
diesel if they decide to do it.:sweet

I'm not trying to start anything, just trying to keep people informed,
also, no matter where it's made, I would not trade my SD in on one:thumbs
