Hypertech III vs. DiabloSport 78HP chip

Currently have a Hypertech Programmer III on my 01 Ford F250 with 7.3L 6 speed. It has a 4 inch turbo back straight and a S&B Cold Air. Would i get better power and mileage out of the HyperTech or out of the DiabloSport 78HP chip? A guy has the chip for sale.. just wanting to make sure that it will help me anymore that what i have.??

you're gonna get the best results from a custom burned chip from dp tuner or twildman. save your money and go that route when you're ready.

Im not wanting extreme horsepower. Im just wanting the best MPG and power between the two. Im not wanting to go extreme or spend 300-400 for a custom burned chip.

understood. a custom burned chip will still achieve that for you and not be making extreme hp.

A DP tuner chip with a stock, 60tow, 80 econo and 120 will give you every option in the world, better shifting, better MPG and a better running truck in every way. All for about $350-$400

What did you pay for the hypertech? About $350???
