Was warming up the 04 F-250 to head out snowmobiling today and within minutes there was about 3-4 quarts of oil lying on the ground. From what i can see it looks like its coming from the rear of the motor, sowewhere? I just had the shop replace the hpop, they said it was starting to leak. Can anyone tell me where this hpop is located? Makes me wonder if they even changed it as they said that if the o ring went out the truck would just spew all the oil out of the motor, kind of like what it seems to be doing...

Just found the paperwork from the shop and they actually replaced the icp ? sensor. I just started and ran the truck for a while and now I am not seeing anything leaking? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i think that is your best bet to take it back to them. its there problem now, most likely messed something up when they where in there.

Well I was able to use a bore scope and see massive oil coming out of the ICP. Good news for me, they are sending a rollback out to the house Tuesday and taking very good care of me and the truck. So very thankfull it happened at the house instead of up in the mountains... Got lucky.
