Ain't no way I'd put sugar in my grits. I do put lots of butter in them. On the other hand, I do put lots of sugar in my oatmeal with some bacon bits.bama-six-gun said:i guess they would hang me then rray. i luv butter and sugar in my grits.
the wife eats hers with salt. yuk!
I like the ones at IHOP. I also like the little ones you get at McDonald's.bama-six-gun said:So, how do you like your WAFFLE HOUSE hash browns.
i like mine
Scattered,
Smothered (with onions)
Covered (with cheese)
Chunked (with ham)
with salt sprinkled on them and ketchup all over!
MMMMMMMMMM, gooood!
My parents used to eat cornbread in buttermilk. That's one thing they couldn't make me eat, no matter how hard they tried. The only way I like buttermilk is if it's used to make biscuits. When I was a kid, the buttermilk was usually "homemade". Actually I did help make it sometimes and take a jar of "clabbered" milk and keep shaking it until it turned into buttermilk.bama-six-gun said:buttermilk is nasty.
OK, so you like them burned? That's the way my mother fries okra; mixes the pieces in cornmeal and drops them in a pan of hot oil. Really tasty. I don't like the "store-bought" kind with each piece battered individually.drchris1024 said:Extra,extra,extra,extra,extra,extra,extra,extra..crispy ..
