i guess they would hang me then rray. i luv butter and sugar in my grits.

Butter yes, salt yes, even cheese yes. But sugar? Are there any carpetbagging Yankees in your ancestry? I keep having to tell the visitors to our fair shores that what you see before you is NOT Cream of Wheat! Do not put sugar on it!

Cream of Wheat is a Yankee invention to placate Northerers who are jealous of our Southern breakfast staple.

I like to take up my eggs and grits, drop a little bit of grape jelly in for color, and mix them all together. It turns the mix into a green color not found in nature. If the people in the next booth turn the same color as this breakfast, you KNOW they aren't from around here.
