 "I will put you in the ditch". With a comment like that he will be in the ditch before you know it. The show did have some truth to it but I hope you don't get the idea that we are all as unqualified as the guys they showed. I guess a truck making a uneventful trip would be a bit boring.

well, he seemed to be about as bright as moose droopings. its too bad really, his attitude turned me off. i was waiting for him to pull out a chrome 44 mag and start waving that around. kinda like jeraldo looking for osama. iirc, it was the heater's second trip up, the first time it got 'damaged' in an accident (by an inexperienced driver?)

hmm, cargo getting to its destination on time and intact would seem to be a job well done, despite all that nature threw at you.

i would think that the carriers who charge a little more, and are more experienced, and get the job done right the first time are propably not the ones who would allow the camera in the cab.

He is not nearly that bright. I will say that this trip up I met him and he seemed to have a much different attitude. He is catching just a little bit of crap about his comment to say the least.

It was a different driver pulling it the first trip and he is a very good hand. The heater ended up in the ditch due to a inexperienced push truck driver. They were meeting another truck and the push truck driver failed to back out of it and pushed the trailer over the bank.

Speaking of inexperience. Here is a little project from my trip yesterday. This driver was on his third trip.

Back on the wheels:

Heading down the road after spending 3 hours in the conex re-stacking lumber and steel to the left side. After we got it on the wheels it wanted to tip back over since all the freight was on the right side.

Here is a little heard of caribou I run through on the way home.

Straight as an arrow for over a mile. It seems as though the road is hard to see when you have your head in your A**.
