I bought my '99 Superduty new in '98 and have driven over 150K trouble free miles, until now...
What will cause transmission fluid to drain back from the hydro booster return hose and cause the power steering pump resevior to overflow?

Danny. I would look at any check valves to make sure they are working as designed. Sounds like one maybe stuck open (dirty).
