Great web site -need lots of info-on new 6.4-every thing from fuel mileage-
to the thermal event-(tail pipe fires)-I have a F-450 -4x4-man trans-june
build date on order. I hope this engine is not a piece of **** like the 6.0-i had
three trucks with the 6.0-im glad i kept my 7.3-trucks. I just drove my 97-
F-350 srw-4x4-crew-man trans ,with 812,000 miles to arizona to pick up-
a 49 cadillac-1951-F4-4x4-there and back no problems -if i had drove the -
6.0-i would need a extra 3-weeks for repairs...also i need info to remove-
the D.P.F.-this truck will be used off road-and do not need excess heat-
to set woods on fire..:thanks :sly -mad

I live near knoxville- thanks for the welcome! Im glad you like my list of trucks
most of my trucks have been in my family since new! and none of them are-
street rods! Ill leave that to the inbred--only a dumb sht-would rip a flathead-
out to replace with a 350 or a 302--i only do old school- like my 54 -chevy-
truck-some dip-sht, had a corvette engine in it -(92)-i took all this crap out-
and modern seats-etc. And now truck looks stock-engine-is a GMC 6cyl-292
out of a one ton truck-with all miller speed goodies-sounds sweet-even pulling
my-1955 14 ft-airstream-one engine that sounds even better- a flathead v-8
pulling a grade--with smittys-and reds headers-and non sync, transmission-
that whine sounds great--even better with 4x4-and 4:88 gears- I have driven
a few of my fords to florence-ala-car show and to see family-the longest-distance-driven was in my 1949-F-2-to oklahoma did this to see my uncle-it was his-
granddads-truck-(glad i did this passed away-2-years after visit-04)-Again-
any input on the 6.4-would help-any problems of any kind-my F-450-will-arrive in late july----:thanks :sweet -- :burnit -- :drive

You -need a replacement truck-that 6.0 will blow-up-had a few 6.0-my 06-
blew -up in atlanta-bought a early 07 3500 chevrolet-to replace -the F-350
and has not missed a beat!-this truck is in the over $ 6,000 truck-trader-
this week-june-13th.. page one jumbo ad-center of page-it is a 3500-4x4
D-max- LT-3 fully loaded-this is a temporary truck-until- my F-450 arrives...
It is a shame the 6.0 did not work as good as my d-max-6.6-and this truck-
is as reliable as my trucks with the 7.3 !!!!::sorry :haha

SEE the icon----this is the way ford treated customers with the 6.0
and they deny any knowledge of problems-they tried this with me-
until they found out im a diesel mechanic-- this is what ford likes
to do to their customers--------------------------:nutkick:
:haha

now i know that alot of 6.0's were trouble. we have hauled plenty of them that ford bought back, and im sorry you have had so much trouble with yours.

but dont come in here telling everybody that has a 6.0, that "their" truck is a piece of junk, and they need to get rid of it NOW. you will only make enemies instead of friends.

i luv my 6.0 and plenty of others on here do to, and have had no issues. i am glad you joined up at SDD, but dont start bashin right off the bat.

maybe you should tell us the specific troubles you had, and by doin that, you can help others on here, if they have future troubles with theirs.

thank you and good day.
