Welcome to SSD.com but please help us and not hurt us because I have a 6.0that runs great and does a fine job of pulling my fifth wheel. That's what I bought it for and I am in the hills of AR right now camping next to two other 6.0s and none of them have been back to Ford yet.

You -need a replacement truck-that 6.0 will blow-up-had a few 6.0-my 06-
blew -up in atlanta-bought a early 07 3500 chevrolet-to replace -the F-350
and has not missed a beat!-this truck is in the over $ 6,000 truck-trader-
this week-june-13th.. page one jumbo ad-center of page-it is a 3500-4x4
D-max- LT-3 fully loaded-this is a temporary truck-until- my F-450 arrives...
It is a shame the 6.0 did not work as good as my d-max-6.6-and this truck-
is as reliable as my trucks with the 7.3 !!!!::sorry :haha

SEE the icon----this is the way ford treated customers with the 6.0
and they deny any knowledge of problems-they tried this with me-
until they found out im a diesel mechanic-- this is what ford likes
to do to their customers--------------------------:nutkick:
:haha

Thanks, but no thanks! :ford I'd rather push this one than drive a DootyMax (with my trailer attached). Yeah, I had problems initially with the wiring harness, but that problem has been gone for 60,000 trouble free miles. Sorry you had problems with yours, but like any vehicle on the market, there are lemons out there. If you are so down on the 6.0 I'm not quite sure why you went out and bought the 6.4 (built by International too) without investigating it, especially after having problems. I'm sure some of the 6.4's will have problems too just like any new engine from any manufacturer.

Hope this one works out for you! :sweet
