company has been laying off folks around here like nobodies bus.
then yesterday I get a call to interveiw within the company for a lateral transfer.to one of our contracted labs hmm sounds good, so today i get interviewed, real nice LAB work doing materials testing and longer hours , more travel, less flexible workdays.

the best..... NO pay increase

thinking i did the right thing by declining the job

oh and we got a chemical engineer job (entry level ) open now, across from me
