HELP!!! In a hurry!!!!!

Trying to tow a trailer tonight but I cannot get the trailer brake controller to come on. I have never used it before but it came with the truck. After plugging in the trailer all the lights work but no lights come on on the controller on the cab. I checked the fuse under the dash and it was good. What is the problem??? 2003 6.0 psd fx4

Check the sync adjustment on your controller. Will it work manually by using the controller not the foot brake?

which controller do you have did you check to make shure it is getting power it should have its own fuse probably under the hood

check the connections...might not be plugged in (under the dash)...

check all the fuses...under the hood and the dash panel.

one other thing....if the brake controller is connected you should
get some lights or SOMETHING on the brake controller...try moving
the manual brake lever on the controller, if you dont get anything
that way then theres a connection/power issue at the controller

if the brake controller confirms as being connected and you move
the manual brake controler w/OUT a trailer connected you should
get some error or ALERT that shows an open trailer connection (which
means the brake controller doesnt see a trailer plugged in)

do you get any parking lights on the trailer when you turn the truck
lights on ????

parking lights come on. where is the fuse under the hood located? can't find it in the manual

show when you turn the trailer lights
on & tap the brake ?

yes all the lights come on the trailer. no lights come on at all on the controller no matter what I do. Do you know where the fuse box under the hood is located?

i dont, unfortunately.
in the early superduty trucks there
was a relay under the hood that
needed to be installed.

i know my 04 (6.0) didnt need
anything...just plugged in a
controller and everything was fine.

the relay/fuse list is in the owners manual
