Ok so I lifted my truck about 4 months ago and it made this noise every once in a great while, this was with the stock tires. On Monday I had 4 Wheel Parts put some 35" FC II's on her and do the alignment. Now almost every time I make a turn and there is some small or large bump I hear a bang sound that sounds as if it is coming from right under the driver seat the sound is almost as if someone is hitting the bottom of the cab with a ball peen hammer I have checked everything in the area and in the front end to make sure all was tight I also had my buddy turn the wheel both ways to make sure all components cleared each other I also get the bang noise every once in a while on a strait away during or right after hitting a bump in the road I am stumped and so is my dealer and 4 Wheel Parts so if anyone has any suggestions I would love to here from you Also note that it was just in for head gaskets and the dealer did a cab off job they messed a lot of stuff up and i ended up going back to them with a full page of things they needed to fix i.e.: body ground not connected residual fluid all over a huge gouge in my door that they tried to paint and over sprayed the rest of the truck so it could have easily been something they did during the cab off head job I wish they would help me diagnose this bang noise without the chance of being charged an arm and leg
THANKS IN ADVANCE

checked and checked again

I've checked them a few times and nothing i even got out my torque wrench and checked everything over I did notice a gap on one of my upper ball joint on the top of the knuckle on the driver side the passenger side has a gap as well but its half the size I'm taking it back to 4 wheel parts so they can check it out for me

sway bar ?

I checked the sway bar end links and the ball joints tonight I checked everything once again with the full weight of the truck and then jacked up the frame and checked everything with the suspension free floating. The sway bar bushings and end links all looked in good condition and were tight I imagine they become loose when they go bad or is it something you can't diagnose until you replace them

Check everything. Make sure the "brackets" upfront are tight. and the bolts are not backing off. check EVERY SINGLE BOLT. from the steering stabilizer brackets and mounts to brake hoses. Might not even be the Lift kit. You have a lot of variables going on. Don't forget to check your pitman arm regularly!! You should of paint marked it when you installed it to see if the nut is backing off later on. Mine backed off, had to re-torque it and used lock tight.

Take it back to 4Wheel Parts, something THEY did on Monday is something THEY need to make right.

It was Morgan Hill Ford Store that caused it. I checked my body mounts, the driver side front the one under your feet was at 25lbs the middle one was at 30lbs I tightened both of these to 90lbs because the rest were at 110lbs and the service manual says to put them at 60 lbs. Took her for a test drive bang sound is gone. Drove to the in laws about 45 miles still no bang sound. Such a relief but I'm extremely pissed off at the Ford Store in Morgan Hill going in there tomorrow to give them a piece of my mind and ask for the contact info on the bureau of automotive repair and Fords Corporate office. I'm sending a detailed letter to both of them, I doubt it will do any good but hopefully they will get some quality control for the next guy as for me I'm going down the road to Hollister's Ford dealer
