I've been listening to stories about 6.0's stacked 10 deep at the shop waiting for head gaskets and thought I'd better start educating myself and deciding what was fact and what was fiction. I spend my days working on 500+ horsepower diesels, but this little powerstroke is what gets me to the job and I kind of like it, especially since I upgraded from an 1989 f-250 with a 7.3L and an early E4OD.

Hi Steve,,..My 05 which I bought new has been a good truck. Only EGR valve and a turbo and only have 28,000 on it now. I get around 17-20 mpg with it in the summer, now its around 15! Anyway glad you found us!!
