Thank-you all for a warm welcome. DaveBen I go through Ukiah all the time to get to my ranch in Potter Valley. If you ever see me in my truck..give me a shout out! Stroked68 the yakamia roof rack is attached with clamps that insert between the top doors and the roof. The lift is from Sky Jacker and is 8in.

Awesome! Looks like it drills through the roof. Might have to look into that. Is the sky jacker lift a good lift? You like it? I think I want to go 6in eventually.

I orginial had a 6 in lift, but went back for the extra 2! lol The Skyjackers kit is awsome, but I will be honest, I had a stress crack near one of the bolts on one of the tie rod mounts that resulted in cracking in two! from what I was told by a tech at skyjacker it happens from exposing my truck to yrs of saltwater. He told me he has seen it before once or twice..go figure? Anyways that happen over a course of 10 yrs so I still give the system a thumbs up!

I don't care for walks on the beach, long or short,
but I do like Ford Trucks and sure glad you stopped
by, hope you come back often.

They seem to be pretty popular. I just dont want a cheap lift. You get what you paid for like all things. We do have salt here so that will be a prob but 10yrs of service out of a lift is good to me. Probably comes down to just havin to check the components more freaquently and if it needs some more paint for protection just paint them again and treat them with some rust proof stuff.
