I have got an 07 with the 6.0 I bought it new in Feb. of 07 and have got 180000 miles on it. I tow trailers and 5th wheels out of the Elkhart IN area with it so it is worked pretty hard. Up until the last 10000 miles or so I have had no complaints with it, but now it has a miss in it. From about 1700 to 1900 RPM in overdrive and 2100 to 2300 RPM in drive. I have changed the EGR, fuel filters and even dropped the tank to see if there was something in it. The thing is throwing no codes so the dealer is of no help. Any Ideas, Im out of them.

Only mod I have done is a K and N air filter system. Kinda forgive me guys but Im not sure what a H.P.O.P. is. I wasnt sure on an injector being so RPM specific but that is my next thing to look at. Does a bad injector usually put out white exhaust? Im not getting that. This is my 4th Power Stroke but my 1st 6.0. I just bought a 97 F350 last summer and I have had an 01 and an 02.
Typically an H.P.O.P.(high pressure oil pump)problem creates a no start issue,as the injectors need around500p.s.i. to activate. I don't know if it is possible for it to cause your concern or not. I just thought that because it is a big factor in driving the injectors, it could be. Mostly I was hoping that a tech would jump in here and help. I'm learning as I go also.

Thats what I thought it was. I had a tech go down the road with the computer hooked up and he mentioned that but said it was ok. Im about as mechanically inclined as a rock so I always have lots to learn.
