i have a f-250 super duty 7.3 it runs fine accept the fuel mileage.but when you first start in the morning it will not start unless you give it a shot of starting fluid.after that it will start fine the rest of the day.i changed the cps but still does the same.

Don't use starting fluid!! There are heaters in the engine and they could cause a loud explosion and fire. Check out your glow plugs!! They provide the heat to a cold engine. Fill out your signature so we will know what you drive and where you live. This will help us help you. Go to the USER CP button above^.

i bet the gp's are fine, or maybe a few are out......but if you cant start it at all without ether, the GP relay is probably toast and not turning ANY of the GP's on.
