We use to have a Borg Warner banner on here for their glow plugs.

I can't find anything on them anywhere. They claimed their's were
better than stock and I think they may have been cheaper than
buying them at the dealership.

Anyone have any clue's?

Dogman, I found a source for that part#, but it said it was for a 2003 6.0 only.

Part#176401 is for a 2004+ Ford truck/Van 6.0

Wonder what the diff. would be.

bama-

tomato, tomatoe. we are all saying the same thing.

the glow plugs live next to each injector.

you have to take the valve covers off to get to both.

if you look at the UVC wiring harness, see the 4 BIG wires? those are the conductors to the gp's.

to change them, you have to take the valve covers off. look at the diy injector wiki. even though its for a 7.3, the concept is the same.

Understood dp. but.............

I did ask him yesterday about their location on my truck, I said "Will I have to remove the valve covers to get to the glow plugs?" and he said, "No, you can access them through the wheel well area to remove them."

Maybe I didn't ask my question clear enough.

Did they test out bad, Bama?

It's my understanding that they are under the valve covers as well. Looks like I may have to have my dieseltech take a peek at mine as well. They're not giving me a warm and fuzzy feeling by any means.
