great to hear she is quietened down and running good.

This afternoon we'll see what AutoEnginuity says. There's a "crankshaft rotational velocity % change" PID. Dennis and I agree that the readings on cylinders 2 & 8 of 1.1-1.5 were the dead head fuel system, all the others were 0. I'll get some readings this afternoon to see how they show now.-popcorn

you dont have the LL injectors either right?
I bet the % change drops off to real darn close to 0.
the smoothness in idle was remarkable in my 02, like night and day, and some of the odd noises seemd to diminish :sweet

iffin you got an LL injector
some change em out for a non LL, but to make it run right there needs to be a ecm/pcm program shift/change, if i remember correct, i would aslo surmize a chip or tuner guy can do it for you
I left mine in and it had over 60k on the hutch mod with zero issue related to injectors.
ON very rare occasions if i let the tank get very low the idle knock would come and go. but smoothness remained very nice.

Starting at the top hose: overall lengths, 45 JIC-JIC pieces used where hose ends weren’t available

26” straight and 90 #4 JIC…filter housing to driver rear test port
22” both 45 ends…filter housing to passenger rear test port
15” straight and 45 ends…front pass to regulator
10” 90 and straight…regulator to front driver port
12” #6 straight both ends…regulator to return line
Missing compression plug for regulator housing
3- #4 JIC 45's
3- 1/8 pipe to JIC adapter, 45 degree
2- 1/8 pipe to JIC adapter, straight
1- 1/8 pipe to JIC adapter, 90 degree
1- JIC to 5/16ths compression for return line
Regulator has #4 JIC for lines coming from heads, #6 JIC for return

So, are these still the parts and hose lengths needed to do this mod or has some things changed? Is there some step by step instructions available for us "chicken to cluck up the system" DIY'ers :thanks

I almost finished the written part of my WIKI article last night. Hose lengths are still up for change as I haven't messed with it. The return from the regulator and return from drivers side will prolly change depending on how I modify the bracket I got from Powerboatr. He kept the factory feed lines and I didn't so I have to change it a little.

Next week I don't have my kids so I'll be able to get it done. I'll have to bum a ride to the hose shop.:(
