My '96 F250 gets 11-12 mpg. I have a 3" downpipe with 4" straight exhaust. I also have a superchips programmer, but it doesn't do anything for mileage for me. I feel you pain with the mileage and fuel prices. I am paying 3.87 here in Cheyenne, Wy. I hope you can get your mileage up better than me.

I have ´96 F250, auto and also only get the same mpg. mine is 3.55 I dont know why :dunno

IS it possible that the guys that are seeng that mielage have a slipping tranny/clutch and wasted power and it's not to the point that they notice it yet? That just seems like quite a difference to me.

That could be possible, but mine doesnt seems to slip. I have read that also the MAP sensor could be the culprit, I dunno.

Anyone have any ideas what i can do to better my mileage, I have a 95 f350 xtra cab with 7.3 all stock and has 220,000 on her any help would be appreciated

You need to tell us what you are currently getting for mileage so we can tell you if any reasonable gains are to be had.

Mine dropped about 2 mpg when the ULSD came out. Other guys that drive other brands of trucks have noticed the same drop.

Something to look at is the MAF, I make a habit to clean it becouse they do get crap on it and that can put your mileage in the crapper. 06 and I'm getting 18 city and 22 hwy.

currently gettin around 13-14 mpg while city drivin havent really done much highway drivin yet

The best advice I can give you to see an increase in town is to lighten up on the throttle. 13-14 isnt horrible and I really doubt you will see much better than 15.5 in town. Change your driving habits, if you see a red light coming just ease up and slowly coast up to it, hope its green when you get there, then lightly accelerate away from the slow coast. Give up jack rabbit starts all together, keep your tires properly inflated, stay on top of your scheduled maintenance and insure that you dont have a brake dragging.
