Eat Some Smoke
wow, I don't know why the milage is so different between the two trucks
My '96 F250 gets 11-12 mpg. I have a 3" downpipe with 4" straight exhaust. I also have a superchips programmer, but it doesn't do anything for mileage for me. I feel you pain with the mileage and fuel prices. I am paying 3.87 here in Cheyenne, Wy. I hope you can get your mileage up better than me.
IS it possible that the guys that are seeng that mielage have a slipping tranny/clutch and wasted power and it's not to the point that they notice it yet? That just seems like quite a difference to me.
Anyone have any ideas what i can do to better my mileage, I have a 95 f350 xtra cab with 7.3 all stock and has 220,000 on her any help would be appreciated
You need to tell us what you are currently getting for mileage so we can tell you if any reasonable gains are to be had.
currently gettin around 13-14 mpg while city drivin havent really done much highway drivin yet
